Great reminder that our husbands need our respect as much as we need their love. 'The Five Love Languages' book is wonderful too for better understanding how you both naturally give and receive love and respect in order to honour and cherish one another deeper. My husband and I attended a Love and Respect Conference during our courtship and it led to great conversations. Definitely recommend for both singles and marrieds!

This article pierced my heart, so well written; thank you. I smile when I ponder on the simple, yet delightful ways that God taps us on the shoulder and refocuses our priorities and values. I don't think that womam showed up at your door "by accident."

Is our God not amazing?? Keturah, I love that God showed Himself to you and drew you nearer to Himself through a simple knock on the door. Thank you for the reminder to sit at this feet and "in quietness and trust is your strength."

Very true Kendra...sometimes it's easier to go for a quick fix but the most satisfying is when you wait on God.

Patti, thank you for visiting our place of inspiration, encouragement and refreshment. Yes, we women need to link arms and help each to STOP and do a daily reality check as to what is really important. It is so encouraging to hear your personalized STOP method. How great when we find something that actually works for us. May God continue to walk with you and give you much wisdom as you launch into your new business. May you receive many tangible blessings. Heidi

Thanks for this reminder! I really needed to read this as I launch into a business start up. I want to take a few days away to do just this rather than "wish I had". I had to smile when I read your S.T.O.P pattern... I have a S.T.O.P. pattern as well that I used while organizing my home and office! I like yours! S.T.O.P. ~ my solution to STOP the clutter Sorting, Tidying, Organizing, and Picking up! ... minimum 15 minutes a day (5 x a week)

Blesssings!

Thank you, Esther.

I'm honored you have taken the time, not only to read the blogs, and listen to the podcasts, but, to comment, as well.

Your words have blessed and encouraged me.
