Since 1973, God has been transforming the lives of women across the country through this vital ministry through conferences, retreats, mentoring, and online ministry that speaks straight to the relevant needs of our Canadian culture.

Top 10 of 2011!
Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers shared many exciting glimpses of God at work this past year! Here are our Top 10 (in no particular order):
1. Hundreds of women at Waterloo Conference waving palm branches shouting “Hosanna” and joining in communion, as we had the joy of celebrating Palm Sunday together.
2. Grande Prairie women returning for the 12th year in a row from across northern BC and Alberta to trust God and “fear less”.
3. New online ministry website with weekly articles to encourage you in your faith (womenalive.org). Special thanks to our fantastic team of web contributors from across the country!
4. New bi-monthly column in Faith Today Magazinelaunched in July, speaking into the lives of women.
5. Cost-saving move to our new Brantford office, following the end of our former lease.
6. Development of 2 new ministry initiativeslaunching in 2012: Mentoring Women ~ A Catalyst for Churches and “Press Pause” Retreats, both designed specifically to equip and encourage women like you towards intentional spiritual growth, mentoring, and peer-to-peer encouragement.
7. Seeing God double our volunteer base to include more than 50 women from across Canada! And more on the way! 
8. The blessing of dynamic, yet humble servant hearts of Trinity Community Church, our host church for our Barrie-area Fall Conference.
9. Precious memories made my moms, mentors, and teen girls as they shared ‘Girl Time’ at our London ie girl Weekend. The impact of moms and mentors realizing that, more than anything, their teen girls long simply for time with the women who love them - a walk in the park, picking flowers by the cottage.
10. Anticipation for the “new things” God has in store for Women Alive in 2012 – seeing hundreds, even thousands, more women and teen girls impacted by women like you investing in the lives of the women around them.
